Mark Clattenburg has spoken of his pride after being appointed to referee the 2016 UEFA Champions League final between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.
UEFA's chief refereeing officer Pierluigi Collina named the Select Group official for the match at the San Siro on 28 May. Compatriots Simon Beck and Jake Collin will be his assistants.
Seven days earlier, Clattenburg will officiate the FA Cup final between Manchester United and Crystal Palace, making him the first man to take charge of both finals in the same season.

"I was stunned when I received the call from Pierluigi Collina," Clattenburg said. "Stunned but absolutely delighted.
"It will be a huge challenge but ultimately one that I’m massively looking forward to. I’m going to be representing my country and the 27,000 referees in England and the great thing is that I can share the success with my team of officials."
Mike Riley, General Manager of Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL), said Clattenburg's appointment was a demonstration of "an excellent season" for the PGMOL's Select Group of officials.
"For Mark and his team of officials this is magnificent reward for them personally but also reflects well on the standard of refereeing in England," Riley said.
"If you look at Mark’s pedigree in Premier League games this season he has done extremely well in some challenging games. He has the respect of the players, management and his peers.”
Clattenburg, 41, whose first BPL match was Crystal Palace v Everton in 2004, has been an international official since 2007.
He was an assistant at UEFA Euro 2012, officiated the men’s final in the London Olympic Games that year, and is one of 18 referees selected for Euro 2016 this summer.
Fellow Select Group referee Martin Atkinson, who officiated last season's Europa League final, will also join him at Euro 2016.
